There are so many meaningful ways of connecting with our clients that we sometimes forget. We take for granted several gestures that are free and easy to do, but can make a powerful statement of appreciation to our customers.

1. Handwritten Cards. If you've been a customer of OmniCall's for any length of time, you know we're pretty big on these handwritten note cards. Who doesn't love receiving a letter in the mail? It's such a rare thing these days that it'll really put a smile on your customer's face. Set up a station with cards, pens, and envelops already set with your return address to make it easy for you and your fellow staff members to pick up a card and send it off!

2. Give ?em a ring. And no, we don't mean a diamond; an actual phone call! Everyone is so used to communicating via text message and social media – picking up the phone and expressing a sincere token of gratitude will literally stun them. It may seem intimidating at first but once you have a few under your belt, you will love the relationship it creates!

3. Email. You would think this is a regular form of communication so how can it be meaningful to show appreciation? Because we're not talking about your formally written email; something to this degree will do the trick:

?It was great to see you the other day at our meeting. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your business. Thanks so much for the support!”

Boom.

*Bonus. New Client Gifts. No, these aren't free but man do they make an impact! No need to go out and spend thousands on these items. If you send a new client a uniquely wrapped gift with a simple notecard inside (handwritten, of course) you will be amazed at the first impression you will make.

It doesn't matter how you choose to show your customers your care, just do it! Schedule out time to do these little things and make it a priority. After all, they are signing your paycheck – the least you can do is thank them.
